About

Drawing has always been an integral part of my life since being a child. I first became interested in the world of animation when I was approximately 15 years of age. I followed my interest in animation by attending Ballyfermot Senior College in Dublin, Ireland at the age of 18. Initially I studied classical animation and then moved onto Multimedia studies, it was at this time I got my first taste of animating in 3D Studio Max and building models. It was at this stage that I decided to pursue a career in computer/digital animation (although I still dabble in classical animation from time to time!)

In 1997 I decided to leave my roots in Ireland and move to the UK (Liverpool to be precise) to work for Magenta Software. Initially I was brought in to be an environment artist, but due to circumstances at the time I was placed in the animation department to help out with a project. Since then I haven’t looked back as animation became my main field of expertise. During my time in the UK working for various companies I have also gained experience of modelling and concept art.

I now live in Sheffield and have recently finished a contract working for Kuju/Chemistry to start a new career in freelance animation/Modelling.
